Jason, Nicola and the kids would like to welcome you to our lovely little pub, the Silver Fox. We took on the pub in June 2024 with the intention of pouring excellent, well priced drinks and serving up fresh pub grub to those gracious to venture in and check us out. You’ll find a warm, inviting atmosphere with down to earth bar staff that will be happy to see you.
With Sky Sports & TNT on 5 TV screens covering the whole pub, we’ll be showing all the major sporting events, so you’ll never miss a match. The kitchen is operated Tuesday – Saturday by Skillet, offering a street food inspired lunch and dinner menu, alongside some familiar pub classics.
Our kitchen opening hours are as follows;
Tuesday 6-8
Wednesday & Thursday: 12-2:30/6-8
Friday & Saturday: 12-8 Sunday: 12-5
On Sundays we serve up our well-received roast dinners! Choose from Chicken supreme, topside of beef, rolled pork shoulder, gammon or butternut squash & lentil wellington. Booking advised but walk-ins welcome!

Come enjoy a top night of fun at our charity race night, in support of Lewy Body Dementia, Teens Unite Fighting Cancer & Royal Hospital for Neuro Disability. Tables booking up very quickly!
Friday 13th March – Gold Cup Day
One of the highlights of last year. Come and watch the first 5 races of the day with good, loud company. Maybe win some money. Live music from the Flashback Band in the evening!
Saturday 4th April – Easter Bingo
Feeling lucky? Come play bingo. Can’t promise a quiet environment but can assure you it’ll be great fun (with money to be won!!)

“Reasonably Priced”
We visited planning to try their very reasonably priced Ciabatta options. We had Caprese and a Steak Ciabatta with delicious good sized helping of skinny fries on a side a small slaw. Everything was delicious. They were cut in half so were easy to eat. The staff were excellent as was the food. Our visit cost just £24 – incredibly good value. Highly recommended the Silver Fox under the new management. We will be back.
