Jason, Nicola and the kids would like to welcome you to our lovely little pub, the Silver Fox. We took on the pub in June 2024 with the intention of pouring excellent, well priced drinks and serving up fresh pub grub to those gracious to venture in and check us out. You’ll find a warm, inviting atmosphere with down to earth bar staff that will be happy to see you.
With Sky Sports & TNT on 5 TV screens covering the whole pub, we’ll be showing all the major sporting events, so you’ll never miss a match. Scroll down to check out our events to see when our next live music event or monthly quiz is!
The kitchen is operated Tuesday – Saturday by Skillet, offering a street food inspired lunch and dinner menu, alongside some familiar pub classics.
Our updated kitchen opening hours are as follows;
Tuesday Pie Night: 6-8
Wednesday & Thursday: 12-2:30/5-8
Friday & Saturday: 12-8 Sunday: 12-5
Fancy a Sunday roast? We source the meat for our roasts from the fantastic Foxholes Farm Shop and Butchers which is situated only a mile down the road. Fancy a hearty home made pie on a Tuesday eve? Give us a call or message us to book a table!

Friday 12th December – Vinyl Night with Christian Fischer from 7PM
Sunday 21st December – Lip Service Brass Band. A big brass fusion band playing Xmas and pop songs; a proper highlight of last year in the pub – don’t miss it!
New Year’s Eve! – Come along and see out 2025 with Jemini, the duo that had everyone dancing at our pub opening party. Open til 1AM

“Reasonably Priced”
We visited planning to try their very reasonably priced Ciabatta options. We had Caprese and a Steak Ciabatta with delicious good sized helping of skinny fries on a side a small slaw. Everything was delicious. They were cut in half so were easy to eat. The staff were excellent as was the food. Our visit cost just £24 – incredibly good value. Highly recommended the Silver Fox under the new management. We will be back.
